Jabbok Counseling's base fee ranges from $120-$140 per therapeutic hour which is 50 minutes. Jabbok Counseling does not directly submit to insurance. You will find our experience and personal care valuable. We maintain a small personalized practice to provide exceptional care and accessibility to our clients. Jabbok Counseling can bill an organization such as a church or business upon request.
WHY DO WE NOT SUBMIT TO INSURANCE?
We do not directly submit to insurance for several reasons. When a facility directly submits to insurance, some insurance companies may audit records as well as require regular reviews to continue in care. This means that your personal information may be shared freely. Some insurance companies determine the type of care that clients receive, may dictate treatment procedures, or limit coverage to specific conditions. At Jabbok Counseling, we strive to provide the maximum privacy and offer you the opportunity to keep health care costs lower as well as ensure that care is directed by you to meet your needs with the care and expertise of your therapist.  If you decide to self submit to insurance, your therapist can help you with this process and this offers much greater privacy to the care you receive. We feel that this honors your needs, care, and privacy. HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY
Our offices are one level and equipped with a ramp from the parking lot to the sidewalk. The doors are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs. Bathrooms are equipped with rails. The entrance doors are heavy and may be difficult to open but our therapists are willing to help you enter and exit the facility to support your needs. Contact us if more guidance is needed to make an informed decision.
TELEMEDICINE
Jabbok Counseling offers online teletherapy via doxy.me Â
This platform is easy to use and requires no software downloads. Your therapist will provide the access information. Licensing requirements mandate that therapists are not permitted to perform therapy outside of the state in which they function. You will be required to sign a release if you choose teletherapy. Your therapist is required to know your physical address for the virtual sessions in the event of an emergency and also has to determine if teletherapy is a safe modality for your care. Speak with your therapist to assess if teletherapy is appropriate for you.
COVID-19Â NOTICE
Jabbok Counseling will operate in compliance with state mandates. Currently, no mask mandate is in place. The therapist will honor any concerns clients have regarding masking. Please let your therapist know if you prefer they wear a mask during your counseling appointment. We honor the unique needs, individual concerns, and medical needs of each client. Each therapy room is equipped with a UV light air purifier that kills viruses. We ask that if you have been exposed to or are ill with Covid-19, please consider utilizing the online platform for your session and inform your therapist. Our offices are spacious allowing for greater social distancing during your counseling session.
