My name is Nancy Mehesy. I have been married for 26 years and have three adult children. I have worked in mental health for over 20 years. I mentor other therapists and provide training in a variety of settings. I have extensive experience in working with complex trauma. I work with organizational leaders, pastors, and their families as well as therapists that are experiencing distress. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, biking, being outdoors, and traveling. My approach to therapy includes a combination of systemic and individual models integrated to teach, process, and help clients experience change. I enjoy watching my clients learn to listen internally and discover how to create change and heal. I use a variety of techniques to help clients grow. I desire to help my clients learn as well as heal. Your emotional safety and privacy are important as I join you for this season of your journey. I love the team at Jabbok Counseling. We are a like-minded group of clinicians that care about the quality, integrity, and accessibility of clinical care. Genuine relationships and personal care are who we are as a team and we desire that for you and your family.

PATRICK MEESE

Masters of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy

patrick@jabbokcounseling.com

You will often hear me say “It is good to be with you!” I say this because I genuinely mean it. I have been married for thirty years, raised five children, and enjoyed engaging our growing family of son and daughters-in-law and 4 grandchildren. I have experience in multiple work environments ranging from burn trauma, medical research, consulting, economic development, chaplaincy and spiritual direction, turnaround management at the state level, and as a CEO and Board Executive with experience in multiple business organizations and nonprofits. At the heart level, I believe in personal application. My passion is, “caring for the soul” by helping others discover life-giving change through their own personal application of hidden strengths and new ways of thinking about becoming  “unstuck.” We will partner together to accomplish this through the relationship we will develop. Through deep listening and being heard, we will engage in processing your experience in a safe environment with new resources. I integrate systemic models, as well as psychodynamic and spiritual direction models, incorporating life experience into a customized approach for your personality, needs, wants, and goals. Together we will create a safe space to process, learn, “grow through what you go through'' and experience positive change. Your safety, well-being, and healing are my highest priorities.

SARAH HUBBARD

Masters of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy

sarah@jabbokcounseling.com

I am Sarah Hubbard. I highly value the importance of healthy, stable family life. I have previous experience working at a pregnancy center where I helped with sexual health, pregnancy, and parenting. I am married and have a young toddler that keeps us on our toes. I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on family and child counseling from Cedarville University and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Evangelical Seminary. I pull from a variety of evidence-based modalities both systemic and individual and love to work with children through play therapy. The therapy room can be a terrifying, yet sacred space. It is a gift to be able to journey into that space with you and witness the growth that occurs. In my free time, I love creating art and being outdoors with my family, whether that be hiking, biking, or kayaking.
