I didn’t even “shop around” because I felt instantly at ease comfortable and safe with Nancy. I so appreciate her clinical knowledge paired with her faith in God. I trust that she approaches her work prayerfully, which matters a lot to me. I’ve made progress in my journey (though never fast enough for my preference) in large part because of Nancy’s knowledge, care, and patience, and when needed, her no-nonsense challenges. She is good, she is caring and she is kind.
Nancy has been such a blessing in our lives. My husband and I wish she could write a book on parenting because we feel like she has all of the answers and solutions! Her laid back demeanor, warm friendly vibe, and wealth of knowledge makes her a wonderful therapist. My children connected with her immediately and get very excited to come to therapy. We have seen a lot of progress and highly recommend her services.
Nancy has helped me work through some of the most trying times in my life. She has taught me coping mechanisms and self reflection tactics that have become a regular practice in my life. My life has been so much more fruitful since bringing Jabbok Counseling into it. I am so forever thankful and could not recommend them enough.
I have had extensive therapy for trauma throughout my life. When I started experiencing flashbacks in fall of 2021 I knew that I needed to address more trauma. I learned that Nancy does EMDR and I started seeing her. She helped me to overcome the pain from physical abuse and sexual violence. I love her and Patrick. They are the best.
Meeting with Nancy has helped me see past my depression, what I can control in my life circumstances, and how I can improve. She is compassionate but keeps me accountable.
